One More Robot
Hey, check out this cool brand new comic with real bad-ass art. The reason I came across it is because one of its creators put up a blog entry about Star Fruit and star fruit. Apparently, my ashcan encouraged the friends to purchase and eat a star fruit. Apparently, for them it tasted really weird.

It makes me feel real bad -- as if I were creating an element of fantasy (well, I am) to a fruit that actually doesn't taste good at all. I haven't seen one in person for a long time, but I do indeed remember having it when I was a kid, and I also do remember having it for the first time and it tasting really, really good. Kinda like a green plum. Perhaps it has to do with the season, ripeness, origin, etc...

Anyway, I guess I must make a warning to gentle readers that even though Keoyen loves star fruit, she grew up eating them all the time. For everyone else, some "taste acquiredness" may be par for the course..

...oh, and in addition, please don't judge star fruit's flavor by the bottled juice they make out of it. I've tried one brand, and it's rather truly horrific..They put salt in it or something!!
